It is a book well worth reading. It outlines a series of five exercises practised by Tibetan monks that kept them on their toes well into old age. Having read the book, Brucie began doing those exercises faithfully every morning together with following a moderate diet. His health, vitality and happy marriage are the fruits of this commitment.
My personal ‘fountain to eternal youth’ was The Ten-Point Way to Health by the Raja of Aundh. Every morning I spend probably at least 20 minutes doing Sun Salutations, lung, kidney, liver, spleen, thyroid and eye exercises followed by kabalaphati and passage meditation. It is so ingrained that I hate it when I am unable to do them.
It's not sporadic spurts of activity that work. It’s those 5 minutes, day in, day out, that become part of your daily routine that will make all the difference to your own personal fountain of vitality.
