'Control of Food Quantity ...
... and its quality enables anyone to determine the course of his existence.
Excessive eating of natural food and craving for artificial food are caused by false hunger: a gnawing, unfulfilled sensations which sometimes occurs soon after a full meal.
Continuous snacking, overeating and smoking are all caused by the bloated and swollen condition of the mucous gastric and intestinal membranes. The food tract walls are soggy, water-logged and tender. This stimulates, even when full, a feeling of hunger which appears to be relieved only by more food - solid and compacting - therefore soothing to the walls - or by smoking - which dries and drugs the membranes into temporary insensitivity.
Anyone beset by these false hungers or absence of will power to stop smoking who begins to practise Do-in will immediately realise the true cause of his yearnings: swollen stomach and intestine linings.'
You might think you are the emotional eater, but if your stomach is doing the same thing, may be it is just your stomach with the problem. It obviously needs TLC.
